How to get your screen

Option 1 – Prepay online

1. Prepay for your test here. You’ll get two attachments in your confirmation email – a proof of purchase with a PAID stamp, and the Illumiscreen request form.
2. Talk to your healthcare provider, such as your midwife, GP or other lead maternity carer.
3. Complete the request form with your healthcare provider – make sure you both sign.
4. Visit one of 150 collection centres nationwide to get your blood test – you don’t need to book.
5. Hand the person taking your blood test your proof of purchase and request form.
6. Your blood sample is transported to Auckland and prepped and analysed.
7. Our clinician team reviews and shares the results with your healthcare provider within 5 – 7 working days of the sample arriving at the lab.
8. Your healthcare provider will share and discuss your results with you.

Option 2 – Pay at a collection centre

1. Talk to your healthcare provider, such as your midwife, GP or other lead maternity carer.
2. Download the request form. Fill it out with your healthcare provider – make sure you both sign.
3. Visit one of 150 collection centres nationwide to get your blood test – you don’t need to book.
4. Pay for your screen at the collection centre reception.
5. Hand the person taking your blood test your request form.
6. Your blood sample is transported to Auckland and prepped and analysed.
7. Our clinician team reviews and shares the results with your healthcare provider within 5 – 7 working days of the sample arriving at the lab.
8. Your healthcare provider will share and discuss your results with you.
